I launched JVB in 2012 after working as a self-employed carpenter for a variety of builders and gaining first-hand knowledge of the industry. The company has grown in recent years and our reputation for delivering high quality work has gone from strength to strength. I have a fantastic in-house team and skilled workforce. I am always looking at new opportunities to develop the business and our productivity, to ensure we continue to be regarded as a market leader in the construction industry.
I am responsible for pricing all new projects, creating detailed budget estimates for clients and tender documents. Along with valuations, my day-to-day role involves agreeing project variations and settling final accounts. I also produce project programmes, cash flow forecasts and measure and order materials from suppliers. I enjoy working on a project from inception through to completion, and ensuring the clients expectations are exceeded throughout.
I am a Prince II qualified Programme Manager, with proven experience in project planning and implementation, governance, change management, best practice, business transformation and continuous process improvement. I oversee some of our specific construction projects as well as a broader role, supporting Joe and the team to ensure the JVB Construction Ltd business, team, back office systems and processes are fit for purpose. I work with Joe to translate his strategic visions for the business into realistic implementation plans. The business development plan will remain indefinitely as we are committed to making continuous improvement part of the culture of JVB Construction.
I am an experienced Project Manager and qualified Prince II Practitioner with over 15 years project management and support experience across various industries. I work alongside Lesley to manage our projects from inception to completion. My role involves working with our Clients, Architects, Suppliers and Partners. I undertake project planning and management, risk management and issue resolution and liaise with our Clients to agree and track specifications for the project. For my projects I maintain ‘Co-Construct’ our smart project management system that keeps scheduling, communication, files, photos, to-dos and project progress in a central portal accessible to our Clients, Architects and appointed suppliers.
I handle all the general admin in the office and assist Joe with various tasks to ensure efficiency. I use my creativity to update our social media and website blog. Arranging meetings and appointments with new clients and architects is an important aspect of my role. I liaise with the tradesmen and organise deliveries for each site, in addition to ordering resources needed for a fully functional office. I am confident and enjoy supporting the other employees on a daily basis, whereby every day is different!
My role is to verify and process payments to subcontractors and suppliers. I use our online software, co construct as a payment verification technique. I reconcile transactions and correct any discrepancies, alongside evaluating our financial performance and recognising areas to cut costs.

I work for JVB Construction on an adhoc basis, pricing projects when Liam needs assistance. I have several construction related qualifications and have worked in the industry for over 16 years. When working for JVB Construction I enjoy working with the team and following clients through their journey to make their dream home become a reality.
I oversee a variety of construction projects and enjoy visiting our sites to make sure everything is running smoothly. I work closely with our workforce to ensure that they clearly understand every project brief and what is expected from the outset. I also keep a check on materials and inform the office of the items that are required on site. I trained as a carpenter and understand the importance of completing projects to the highest standards.
