Builders Sanderstead

Sanderstead is a village at the southern end of Croydon, within the London Borough of Croydon and county of Surrey. The village sits on the beautiful North Surrey Downs, with local landmarks including Sanderstead pond. It is a popular area due to its close proximity to Croydon and easy commute into central London.

The village of Sanderstead features a historic manor house known as ‘Sanderstead Court’, which was first constructed in the early 16th century. It was turned into a hotel in 1928, but was badly damaged by a fire in 1944 and was demolished in 1958. On the site now stands a three-storey block of flats. On the edge of the village lies the site of the Old Saw Mill, which is now home to a number of private residences.

There is a wide selection of property in Sanderstead, ranging from flats to cottages and character family houses, many of which are just a walking distance within the village high street. Larger detached homes are located in Hook Hill, East Hill, West Hill, Arkwright road, and The Ridge Way.
