Builders East Horsley

East Horsley is a village and civil parish in Surrey, located 21 miles southwest of London. The village shares a parade of shops and businesses with West Horsley, with both halves of ancient Horsley having substantial woodland and chalky lower slopes of the North Downs. A total population of 4,290 people was recorded in 2011.

HISTORY OF EAST HORSLEY 

East Horsley appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 under the name of Horslei. The village is the site of Horsley Towers, a gothic mansion designed by Sir Charles Barry, who was later the architect of the House of Parliament. The village has 1,343 detached homes and fewer than 183 of any other dwelling types, as recorded in the 2011 census.
